A 1987 history paper for I wrote claimed a book I had read was a acceptable military history, when the book was - at best - tedious and uninformative.
A July, 1978 impression I did of then President Jimmy Carter consisted of little more than smiling, and saying “I’m Jimmy Carter”, when in fact I had no idea of anything he had said in order to imitate him.
A spouse at my 2001 wedding made a joke about Al Gore “inventing the internet” when in fact this is a myth.
Another spouse at my 2001 wedding tired to recite improvised prose-poetry without notes. In fact, he is not capable of doing so.
On March 26th, 2008, a cat in our household claimed to need feeding when in fact he had already been fed both wet and dry food.
Every time I fly I tell the airline counter person I pack my own bags, but typically my spouse has placed many items inside that I know nothing about.
A 1995 claim to be allergic to strawberries was merely a ruse to avoid eating them.
