Naturalization timeline, part 4

Did the citizenship Interview…questions are not all that hard, took about 5 minutes. But what they didn’t say on the letter was that I needed two passport style photos – so I went down to get some after the interview, and had to wait an additional 2 hours after that.

11/5/2008 Fingerprints Taken

11/17/2208 Letter for Initial Appointment received for 1/8/2008
1/8/2009 Did Citizenship test/interview. Swearing in set for “in a few months” after “background checks complete”
Total time: almost 3 months
Money: $675, + $8 for passport photos
Travel: 2 trips to the Cleveland Federal Building
Time (excluding time to fill out forms): 2 hours, 20 minutes
